Teacher Assistant

We are urgently hiring a warm, reliable, and nurturing Daycare Teacher Assistant. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, and passionate about child care & early childhood education, with a strong focus on safety, learning, and emotional development. Daycare Teacher Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision to ensure children's safety at all times Create and maintain a positive, nurturing classroom environment Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, and hygiene routines Maintain a clean, organized classroom Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day Keeping records of each child's progress, interests and any problems that may occur Daycare Teacher Qualifications Experience working with young children preferred Background in Early Childhood Education a plus CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and compassionate Foreign language skills to interact with children who come from multilingual homes or homes of other first languages Behavioral analysis and cognitive recognition abilities for anticipating and addressing potential interactions or issues Caring and compassionate attitude when interacting with and caring for children Excellent patience and stamina for keeping up with the demands of children of all ages Advanced multitasking and organizational skills to handle multiple children at a time Daycare Teacher Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the day

Pay:

$17.00 - $17.25 per hour
