Teacher's Aide Location:
Rockland County, NY (Piermont area)
Student Age Range:
3-5 years old
Pay:
NYS Certified TA with ABA training: $25.00-$30.00/hr Teacher's Aide with ABA training: $21.00-$23.50/hr Position Overview Horizon Staffing Solutions is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Teaching Assistants and Non-Certified Teacher's Aides to support an early childhood educational program in Rockland County, NY. These roles involve working collaboratively with classroom teachers to support young learners with diverse developmental, behavioral, and medical needs in a structured and supportive environment.

Classroom sizes are small and individualized, typically consisting of 6, 8, or up to 12 students. The program includes integrated classrooms and serves both verbal and non-verbal students in co-ed settings.
Responsibilities:
Support the classroom teacher in implementing daily instructional and behavioral plans Work with the full class as well as provide one-on-one student support as needed Assist students with arrival and dismissal, including transitions to and from buses Support students with a range of needs, including: Non-verbal communication Medical needs Behavioral or physical limitations Collect data and maintain student notes (required for NYS Certified Teaching Assistants) Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs Promote a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: NYS Certified Teaching Assistants (Level I, II, or III) with ABA training Non-Certified Teacher's Aides with ABA training Experience working with young children with special needs is strongly preferred.
