Hours :

11:35 a.m. - 3:24 p.m. Bruno M. Ponterio Ridge Street School is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-centered Lunch & Student Support Aide to work with students in grades K-5. The successful candidate will be assigned to specific classes during lunch periods and will help provide a safe, positive, and supportive environment for students throughout the afternoon.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise students during their assigned lunch period.
• Monitor student behavior and promote a safe, respectful cafeteria environment.
• Escort and supervise students as they transition between lunch and recess.
• Assist classroom teachers with student support and classroom activities following lunch.
• Help students transition smoothly to afternoon dismissal.
• Foster positive relationships with students while reinforcing school expectations.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other staff members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children while maintaining appropriate supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, patient, flexible, and able to work collaboratively as part of a school team.
