The Montessori School of Rochester is currently hiring for the following position: After School Toddler Teacher's Assistant After School Toddler Teacher's Assistant (18 months - 3 years old) MSR is seeking a caring and dependable Teacher's Assistant to support our toddler community Monday through Friday from 3:00 - 5:30 . Qualified candidates will enjoy working with young children and helping to create a warm, engaging, and well-organized after-school environment, following the tenants of a Montessori classroom. Our After-School Teacher Assistants support children during afternoon programming while encouraging independence, positive social interactions, and respectful care of the environment. This position includes supervising and engaging with children, supporting transitions and routines, maintaining shared spaces, and working collaboratively with other members of the teaching team. We are looking for someone who is dependable, flexible, patient, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children.

Qualifications include:

Experience working with young children Interest in learning more about Montessori education Associates degree in Early Childhood, Education, or related field (preferred) We also welcome candidates with experience from childcare-adjacent fields.
