Infant Teacher Assistant Anna's Little Bananas Childcare Center is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Teacher Assistant to join our team. Our center provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, and we are looking for someone passionate about supporting the growth and development of our youngest learners.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead teacher in providing attentive care to infants (feeding, diapering, soothing, and playtime). Support daily routines that promote each child's physical, emotional, and social development. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and staff. Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration and early learning. Assist with documentation of daily activities, meals, and developmental milestones.

Qualifications:

Experience working with infants in a childcare or similar setting preferred. Warm, patient, and nurturing personality with a genuine love for children. Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions from lead teachers. Reliability and strong communication skills. Must meet New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) requirements, including background clearance, physical, and training.
