HASC, a forerunner in special education, seeks caring Full-Time Teacher Assistants, Teacher Aides/Shadows and Substitutes for our Early Learning Program in Woodmere. Exceptional training and great work environment. Appropriate TA certification a plus Immediate hire
Work Schedule:

HASC began in 1963 to serve the needs of the needs of disabled children. From the start, the program was characterized by professionalism, with a focus on the individual needs of each child. The vision continues to affect the programs that we operate today. What started as a small program in New York City, has now blossomed into many locations in the New York region servicing over 1,100 children. Services are provided at the child's home, day care center, nursery and at our center based locations. We are licensed by the NYS Education Department and by the NYS Department of Health. We are grant recipients from OMRDD, DSS, DYCS, USHUD and USDE which provide program enrichments. At HASC, children and families are seen and treated as unique and special individuals. The staff are constantly challenged to address the needs of their students by using curricula and techniques unique to the field of special education.
