Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children, providing a safe and engaging environment for their growth and development. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to manage various behaviors in children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities. Children's Corner Learning Center is looking for Full Time & Part Time Individuals for our Yorktown Heights Center! We care for children as young as 6 weeks old and up to 12 years old. Our center is open from 6:30am-6pm Monday-Friday. We are looking to fill positions with all age groups as quickly as possible. Shifts to be determined, but may be 8:30-5:30, 9-6, 12-6 or something similar. At Children's Corner you will engage in memorable moments, such as seeing a child learn to crawl, say their first word, identify letters, and so much more! We strive to create a fun learning environment for all of the children in our care. Duties As a Childcare Provider, your responsibilities will include: Creating a warm, welcoming, nurturing and safe environment for all children Supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Providing supervision and assistance at all times. Providing care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their basic needs are met, including feeding, diapering, and comforting. Assisting in feeding, diapering/toileting and all necessary aspects of caring for children. Planning and/or implementing appropriate lesson for the age groups Implementing behavior management strategies to support positive interactions among children. Assisting with educational activities that foster cognitive and social skills. Creating a safe and nurturing environment for all children in your care. Communicating effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the childcare space. Flexible and willing to assist according to the overall needs of the center. Experience The ideal candidate should possess: Previous experience in childcare settings such as nannying, babysitting, or working in classrooms. A genuine love for working with children of all ages, particularly infants and toddlers. Lead Teacher Requirements:
Associates Degree in Early Childhood, CDA, or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year experience working with children 0-4 years old.Assistant Teachers Requirements:
