In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and early literacy and numeracy skills. Your energetic approach will inspire children to explore, learn, and develop essential skills that set the stage for future success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and fostering a respectful environment for children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive development, creativity, and motor skills Help organize classroom materials, prepare learning centers, and ensure a clean and safe environment for all children Provide attentive toddler care and support preschoolers' social interactions and emotional well-being Collaborate with teachers to adapt instructional strategies for individual learners and special education needs Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive educational experience Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is preferred Experience in special education or working with individuals with autism or disabilities is highly desirable Knowledge of early childhood development principles and curriculum development techniques such as Montessori or other pedagogical approaches Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom management tools Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with families Previous experience in private schools or daycare environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly to our community's standards Demonstrated ability to work well with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers Join us in shaping the future by providing joyful, enriching experiences that foster growth, curiosity, and confidence!
