Assistant Infant Teacher Play Time Early Childhood Enrichment Center ? King David Campus | 27100 Cedar Road, Beachwood, OH 44122 Are you passionate about nurturing infants during their earliest stages of development? Do you enjoy creating meaningful connections with children and families while working in a supportive team environment? Play Time Early Childhood Enrichment Center is seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Assistant Infant Teacher to join our exceptional team! What You'll Do As an Assistant Infant Teacher, you will work alongside the Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where infants can grow, explore, and thrive.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with the daily care and supervision of infants Supporting the implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities Encouraging children's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development Monitoring and documenting children's progress and needs Building positive relationships with families through daily communication Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Following all center policies, procedures, and licensing requirements Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, CDA, or CPL Level 3 in Early Childhood Education or a related field Knowledge of child development and best practices in infant care Current or willingness to obtain required ODJFS certifications: CPR First Aid Child Abuse Recognition and Prevention Communicable Disease Training Ability to complete 30 hours of approved Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) training every two years Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills A genuine passion for working with young children Program Standards Our teachers follow and support: Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) Licensing Regulations Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) 5-Star Standards Healthy Ohio Initiatives Teaching Strategies
