Job Description

Do you enjoy working with kids and are looking for a job that does not involve evenings, weekends, or holidays? The Wood County ESC has openings for special education paraprofessionals in Multiple Disability Classrooms at Lake and Northwood Schools for the 2025-26 school year.
Qualifications:
A paraprofessional license is required and can be obtained upon being hired. The ESC will pay for the license.
A BCI/FBI
background check is also required.
Salary:
Based on experience (the salary range is listed), 33.75 hours of paid time per week.

Responsibilities Assist teachers in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, fostering their academic and social development. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to education. Adapt instructional materials and activities to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
Pay:
$18.38 - $24.26 per hour Expected hours: 33.75 per week
