Assumption Academy Clock Part Time Cross Assumption Academy Fill 1100 Broadview Heights, OH Part-Time Classroom Aide Assumption Academy | Broadview Heights, Ohio Part-Time | School-Year Position | Flexible Hours Position Summary Assumption Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Classroom Aide to support its dedicated faculty and students. This part-time position offers flexible hours and is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children in a nurturing, faith-filled Catholic school environment. The Classroom Aide will work closely with classroom teachers to support instruction, student supervision, classroom activities, and special projects while helping create a positive and engaging learning environment. Essential Responsibilities Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional and classroom activities. Provide individual and small-group support to students. Help maintain a positive, organized, and engaging classroom environment. Supervise students during designated times as assigned. Prepare classroom materials and resources. Assist teachers with classroom projects and special activities. Build positive relationships with students and staff. Foster a welcoming classroom atmosphere that reflects the mission and values of Catholic education. Perform additional duties as assigned by school leadership.

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff. Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Assumption Academy. Successful completion of all required background checks. VIRTUS® training or willingness to complete the required training before employment.

Preferred:

Previous experience working with children. Experience in a classroom or educational setting. Interest in supporting children's academic, social, and personal development.
