Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team at Aultman Women's Child Care Center in Canton. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering a positive learning atmosphere and supporting the developmental needs of our children, aligning with our commitment to quality childcare. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support children's learning and development through engaging and interactive methods. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress. Observe and document children's behavior and development. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills. Collaborate with staff to create an inclusive environment for all children. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Qualifications 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent or related field preferred. Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
