Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and passionate Daycare Teachers and Aides to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational play. You will work closely with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Supervise children during playtime, meals, and nap times to ensure their safety and well-being. Assist in the daily care of children, including feeding, diapering, and personal hygiene. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive team atmosphere. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements. Skills First aid certification is preferred. Experience in special education or working with people with disabilities is a plus. Previous preschool experience or early childhood education background is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Proven experience working with children in various capacities such as daycare, nannying, babysitting, or caregiving. Classroom management skills to create a structured learning environment. Ability to engage children in meaningful activities that support their growth and development. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
