JOB DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS

To assist English Learner (EL) students and limited English-speaking students in grades K â€" 8. The location of this position is Wayne High School however, requires traveling between building. ELL paraprofessional will provide individual and/or small group tutoring. The work environment may also be in an inclusion setting with regular education teachers to whom these students are assigned. Applicants must hold a high school diploma. It is the goal of Huber Heights City Schools to employ and maintain Highly Qualified paraprofessionals. Current employees will be encouraged to participate in District provided training and receive assistance to meet the Highly Qualified criteria as defined by No Child Left Behind. Both current and new employees must meet the Highly Qualified criteria as a condition of employment in any Federal designated Title One Building.
