Mason Elementary School Performance Responsibilities
- Supports the student(s) in recitation, reading, and other curriculum tasks, guiding and helping, but not teaching.
- Under supervision of the intervention specialist teacher, works one on one or with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
- Performs clerical duties such as running copies, putting up bulletin board, preparing materials, etc.
- Implements teacher-directed interventions to support pupil performance objectives.
- Assists students where necessary in accomplishing self-help skills and gradually decrease support as appropriate.
- Assists in documentation of pupil performance.
- Assist in toileting needs, including diapering.
- Will work with student(s) who has medical needs which could include tube feedings, insulin testing, etc.
- Other Duties as Assigned Minimum Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to obtain a 1-Year Educational Aide Permit
- Must be able to pass a BCI&I and FBI criminal background check Interested individuals must complete an application in the AppliTrack system.
