We're looking for compassionate, dependable individuals who are passionate about supporting students as they learn, grow, and become more independent. As an Educational Aide, you'll work alongside teachers and school staff to provide individualized support, encourage positive social interactions, and help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. Every day offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. What You'll Do Support students in achieving their greatest potential, developing independence, making successful transitions, and building positive relationships with their peers. Provide individualized assistance under the direction of the classroom teacher. Encourage independence while supporting students' academic, behavioral, and daily living needs. Assist with classroom activities and instructional support. Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other educational professionals to support student success. Transport students when needed after obtaining the required certification. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED. Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit or the ability to obtain one before employment. Experience working with students with disabilities in a classroom setting. Valid Ohio driver's license. Ability to obtain Van Driver Certification within six (6) weeks of employment. Ability to obtain ParaPro/ESEA Certification within six (6) weeks of employment. Background in sports medicine or exercise science is a plus, but not required. Successful completion of all required criminal background checks. A caring attitude, patience, flexibility, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
