Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Infant Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will ignite a love of learning in young children. In this dynamic role, you will create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment that promotes childhood development and supports each child's unique needs. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster early childhood education, including preschool and toddler care activities. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction. Support children's emotional, social, and behavioral development through positive behavior management techniques. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians about their child's development. Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times, including administering first aid when necessary. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including transitions, meal times, nap schedules, and play activities. Collaborate with colleagues to plan special events and educational programs that enhance the learning experience. Maintain detailed records of attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones for each child. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing tailored care in accordance with best practices in special education. Uphold licensing requirements and organizational policies related to childcare, daycare, infant care, and early childhood education. Requirements Prior experience working with children in a daycare, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving setting. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and individual needs. Flexibility to adapt activities for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children as required. Pay:
$13.50 - $15.00 per hour
