Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning and promote developmental growth in preschool-aged children. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs through attentive supervision and encouragement Help facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, exploration, and learning Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, including proper child supervision at all times Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and daily experiences Support classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and engagement Follow health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws when necessary Skills Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management and behavior management techniques Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Ability to provide infant, toddler, and preschooler care with patience and enthusiasm Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid preferred Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork within the classroom environment Experience with child supervision, daycare center operations, and classroom activities to ensure a safe learning space Join us in shaping young minds!
