The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families. Duties Assist in Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning. Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in a daycare setting. Foster an inclusive environment for children with disabilities and special needs. Assist in Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Assist in Observe and assess children's development to tailor educational activities accordingly. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive teaching approach. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting (infant care, toddler care, preschool experience). Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies. First aid certification is preferred; CPR training is a plus. Background in special education or experience working with students with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles. Previous experience as a nanny or babysitter is beneficial.
