SPED Position Overview Clinton Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Paraprofessional to join our educational team. In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of certified teaching staff to provide instructional support, behavioral guidance, and personal care assistance to students. You will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where every Red Tornado student can thrive.

Key Responsibilities Instructional Support:

Assist teachers with individual or small-group instruction in reading, math, and other core subjects.

Classroom Management:

Help maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment; assist with implementing behavior plans and accommodation supports.

Student Supervision:

Monitor students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, hallways, assemblies, and bus loading/unloading.

IEP Support:

Help carry out modifications and accommodations specified in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
