Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher Assistant to support classroom instruction and foster a positive learning environment. This role involves assisting teachers with daily classroom activities, managing student needs, and ensuring a safe and engaging educational experience for all students. The Teacher Assistant will also handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion, contributing to the overall success of the educational team. Duties Support teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities to enhance student learning. Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce instruction and address diverse learning needs. Manage and handle confidential information related to students, staff, and school operations with integrity and discretion. Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning. Facilitate student transportation when necessary, ensuring safety during transit. Monitor student behavior and provide positive guidance to promote respectful interactions. Support the setup of classroom materials and resources for daily activities. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student development and address any concerns. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and professionally. Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student growth. Good organizational skills to manage classroom materials and assist with transportation logistics. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of a classroom environment. Basic understanding of educational practices and child development principles is preferred. Pay:

$9.50 - $12.00 per hour
