Key Qualifications:

Previous experience working as a Paraprofessional in school settings Direct experience supporting students with Autism is essential Strong skills in behavioral support, redirection, and communication Able to collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families Patient, compassionate, and adaptable in dynamic classroom environments High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications preferred

Principal Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated, one-on-one assistance for a 6th-grade student with Autism Implement instructional strategies under the guidance of the classroom teacher and special education team Support development in academic, social, and behavioral domains Assist with daily routines, transitions, and individualized learning tasks Document progress, contribute observations, and participate in team meetings Encourage student independence while delivering responsive support Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Position Details:
