Job Responsibilities:

Assist with classroom instruction and supervision of students Assist with program attendance Support a safe, equitable, learning environment for students of all racial, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds Supervise outside and inside extra curricular activities Implement age-appropriate activities that support the academic development of students and meet the goals of the TBNYS program Help maintain a clean and organize learning environment Check classroom/program equipment to ensure they are in good condition Attend all required professional development and training opportunities Attend family engagement events and activities Maintain a positive attitude and work with others as a member of a team Min Qualifications Experience working with children Computer literacy skills High School Diploma or GED Effective communication skills Preferred Qualifications Previous K-we program experience Bilingual in English/Spanish
