Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development based on early childhood education principles Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and report any concerns promptly Assist with daily routines such as meal times, diapering or potty training, nap times, and outdoor play Support behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children Qualifications
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A FBI FINGERPRINTING SCREEN MUST HAVE A PEDIATRIC CPR TRAINING MUST HAVE SAFE SLEEP TRAINING
Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required; ongoing training encouraged Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle behavior management effectively Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to pass background checks in accordance with mandated reporting laws Passion for nurturing children's growth and creating a safe, stimulating environment Embark on a rewarding career where every day brings new opportunities to inspire young minds!
