Assistant, You Will:

Implement Champions curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn while following coronavirus health and safety measures and more. Partner and communicate with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and support in their child's education.

A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day. Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens. Hours:

7:00 AM

• 8:20 AM // 2:40 PM
• 6:00 PM (M-F, No Nights, No Weekends!

)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate engaging activities for children in a program setting
• Implement and follow program curriculum and lesson plans
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions
• Assist with homework and provide academic support
• Plan and organize age-appropriate recreational activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and games
• Collaborate with other program leaders to ensure smooth operation of the program
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding program updates and child progress

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in a structured setting, such as a daycare or after-school program
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Familiarity with special education needs and accommodations
• First aid certification is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus
