Job Description
Seeking Assistant Teachers and Floats Creative Roots Preschool is a new Waldorf inspired preschool program in Redmond! We are currently seeking qualified staff for our center to join us in our 4-5's classroom, working mornings and some possible afternoons. Responsibilities Create a nurturing and loving environment for our students on a daily basis Lead Teachers will supervise assistant teachers, ensuring success in the classroom Communicating with staff and parents effectively and respectfully Requirements Enrollment in the Oregon Central Background Registry (CBR) Comfort working outside in the elements (We go outside everyday in all weather!) At least one year previous classroom experience required for lead teachers Current CPR/1st Aid, RRCAN, Food Handlers & other required ELD Coursework Why you'll love working at our center The mission of Creative Roots Preschool is to provide a high-quality, nurturing child care environment that supports each child's unique developmental needs. Our teachers thoughtfully design spaces and experiences where children can learn through creative play, art, music, movement, and time spent outdoors. Social-emotional development is also central to our program. Part-time and on call positions available! $16.50/hour to $19.00/hour to start
