About Us:

Huntingdon Children's School is a family-owned, nature-based preschool serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Our children learn through hands-on activities, creative play, and outdoor exploration. They spend a minimum of two hours outside each day, weather permitting, and love getting messy in our mud kitchen!

Position Summary:

We're looking for a fun, enthusiastic Assistant Pre-K Teacher to support our lead teacher and help create a warm, engaging classroom. This is a great opportunity for a college student earning a degree in early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

Assist with daily activities, classroom routines, and curriculum Engage children in play, learning, and outdoor exploration Use positive guidance and help maintain a safe, organized classroom Build warm relationships with children and families Work collaboratively with the teaching team Diaper changing and Potty training

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children Comfortable getting messy and playing outdoors in a variety of weather Reliable, punctual, and able to work full time Reliable transportation Ability to obtain required Pennsylvania childcare clearances No college degree required
