Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Behavioral Technician (K-12) - Allentown, PA Position Overview Soliant Education is seeking five Behavioral Technicians for onsite contract positions in the Allentown, Pennsylvania area for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an education industry position supporting students in grades K-12 through a combination of individualized services and classroom-based assistance. Candidates with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience and prior school-based experience will be prioritized. Assignment Details These full-time opportunities are available ASAP through June 2027 and will support students across a K-12 age range. Behavioral Technicians may provide dedicated 1:1 assistance or work within classroom settings, depending on student and program needs. The pay range is $23-$29 per hour , with compensation determined by qualifications, experience, and assignment requirements. Responsibilities Provide direct behavioral and educational support to students while following established intervention strategies and school procedures. Assist with implementing behavior plans, reinforcing positive behaviors, and helping students participate successfully in classroom activities. Responsibilities may include 1:1 student support, classroom assistance, data collection, and collaboration with teachers and other members of the educational team. Requirements Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school, behavioral, or therapeutic setting is preferred. Experience with ABA, behavioral interventions, or special education environments will be strongly considered, along with the ability to follow individualized support plans and maintain accurate documentation. Candidates should demonstrate patience, professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a school team. Interview and Hiring Process Candidates will first complete a phone screening with a Soliant Education recruiter and must provide at least three professional references, including one former supervisor , before being presented to the school district. Qualified candidates will then interview with a representative from the district for consideration. If selected, specific assignment details such as the school location and student age range will be provided after all required onboarding steps have been successfully completed, including Pennsylvania clearances and drug screening. Contract Benefits This is a 26'27 school year contract position through Soliant Education with access to health, dental, and vision insurance , a 401k plan , and weekly pay . The assignment provides an opportunity to gain additional school-based experience while supporting students throughout their educational day.
