Paraprofessional - Student Aide Help Students Learn, Grow & Succeed! GHR Education is seeking a reliable, caring, and supportive Paraprofessional to work in a school setting in Folcroft, PA . This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play an important role in their educational and personal development. Position Responsibilities In this role, you'll work alongside classroom teachers and school staff to provide individualized and classroom-based assistance to students. You may provide dedicated 1-on-1 support or assist with small-group activities within an inclusive classroom.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

Providing individualized assistance to students with special needs Helping students stay engaged and participate in classroom lessons and activities Assisting students with following classroom routines and daily schedules Reinforcing skills and concepts taught by the classroom teacher Supporting students who may have academic, behavioral, emotional, or physical needs Encouraging a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment Preparing, organizing, and gathering classroom or instructional materials Assisting students with transitions and daily activities such as snack, toileting, and classroom routines Following student-specific schedules and supporting IEP goals under the direction of the supervising teacher Communicating and working effectively with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel Building positive relationships with students and maintaining a professional classroom presence Attending required trainings and professional development Being flexible when classroom needs, assignments, or schedules change Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Previous classroom or childcare experience Patience, compassion, and a dependable work ethic Comfort working with children, including students with special needs Strong communication and teamwork skills The ability to follow classroom guidelines and directions Consistent attendance and punctuality A genuine interest in helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally Experience Special education: 1 year (Preferred)
