Preschool Teachers Assistant

We are small, privately owned preschool that has been part of the Blue Bell community for 43 years. We are a PA DHS Certified and Keystone Stars facility. We are looking for a Teacher's Assistant who wants to be a part of a loving, friendly, and happy community who will open the school each day.

Preschool Teacher's Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

The Preschool Teacher's Assistant supports the teacher by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. The Teacher's Assistant must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Assisting the staff in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents. Teacher's Assistants are responsible for supervising developmentally appropriate activities based on children's interests and needs under the direction of the Teacher. The Teacher's Assistant may float to different classrooms and aid in varying activities.

Preschool Teacher's Assistant Qualifications:

Experience working with children. High energy. Ability to work well with others. Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills. A strong understanding of child development. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preschool Teacher's Assistant Schedule and Benefits:

This position is for five days a week (Monday to Friday). The hours are from 8am to 5pm. This position includes paid holidays and paid time off.

Salary:

$15.00/hour As an employee the Teacher's Assistant will have opportunity to continue her/his professional development.

Preschool Teacher's Assistant Requirements:
