Job Description

LB Capital is a rapidly growing firm focused on acquiring and scaling high-performing companies across home services, real estate, and technology. With strong deal flow and expansion across multiple markets, we are building a platform for long-term growth and value creation. We are seeking an In-House Legal Counsel to lead our legal function and partner directly with executive leadership. This role offers hands-on involvement in M&A, deal structuring, and strategic decision-making —well beyond a traditional in-house position. This is a full-time, in-office role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all contract drafting, review, and negotiation Support mergers & acquisitions from diligence through close Advise leadership on corporate structure, governance, and risk Ensure compliance across multi-state operations Partner with HR on labor & employment matters , including policies, compliance, and employee relations Manage legal risk across multiple entities and business lines
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law 5-7 years of experience in corporate, M&A, transactional, and/or labor & employment law Strong contract negotiation and deal execution experience Knowledge of multi-state compliance and employment law Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
