This is a 12-month position with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 12:00-6:00 p.m. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is looking for steady part-time hours in a supportive school environment.

Part-Time, 12-Month What You'll Do As a Teacher Assistant, you'll work alongside our classroom teachers to support children throughout their day.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with daily classroom activities and routines Engaging with children in a positive, caring, and age-appropriate way Supporting lessons, activities, snack time, transitions, and classroom organization Encouraging independence, curiosity, and social-emotional development Helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and nurturing classroom environment Supporting Montessori classroom practices and routines Montessori experience is helpful, but not required. We will provide guidance and training for the right candidate. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education, childcare, or a related setting CDA credential or college coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus Dependable, caring, and comfortable working as part of a classroom team Willingness to learn and support the Montessori approach Additional Requirements Ability to obtain all required Pennsylvania child care clearances Current health assessment, including TB screening, as required by Pennsylvania child care regulations Why Work at MCH?
