Part-time and full-time work are available. If the candidate is not available for full-time work, these shifts are often flexible enoughto help fill in the gaps in the candidate's schedule. These positions are usually available on a day-to-day basis, so there is a lot of freedom and flexibility that allows the candidate to work when they are available, however, long-term assignments will often become available throughout the district during the school year.

Paraprofessionals:

Assist in the reinforcement of previous instruction or to reinforce the implementation of an existing behavior plan for students as directed Assist with the development and implementation of collaborative practices to help support services for students as needed and required Assist student(s) with activities of daily living. This is not an exhaustive list of potential responsibilities. There are additional assigned duties and responsibilities as directed Pay rate: $14 per hour. Clearances required within the last year: PA Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse Clearance FBI fingerprints through the Dept. of Education Act 126 Clearance (online Mandated Reporter training) Arrest/Conviction Record form (Act 24) and Act 168 clearance (Precision will provide these forms for the candidates to complete) Pre-employment physical and TB test required (neither should be more than 1 year old) Don't know how to get your clearances? Additional Requirements:

All candidates must have either an Associate's Degree OR Proof of 60 college credits (transcripts required) OR Proof of completed PaTTAN training (A short series of on-line tutorials/trainings specific to paraprofessional candidates. If you require this training, we'll show you how to complete it!) It is preferred candidates have some experience (at least 1 -3 months) working with children in grades PK-12.
