The Program Assistant helps with all parts of the daily program for people in the Adult Day Program. This includes helping participants with personal care, activities, and community outings. The Program Assistant works with the Program Specialist, Direct Support Professionals, and other staff to make sure the program is safe, respectful, and positive for everyone. What's required of you: At least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED. Two years of experience working with people with disabilities preferred. Valid Pennsylvania driver's license preferred. Friendly, patient, and dependable. Able to work as part of a team and follow directions. Sit, stand, or walk for several hours each day. Occasionally lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds. Sometimes bend, squat, or kneel for short periods.
