Paraprofessional - Student AideMake a Difference Every Day! GHR Education is looking for caring, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Paraprofessional in Folcroft, PA. What You'll Do As a Paraprofessional, you'll provide hands-on support to students while working closely with certified teachers and other members of the school team. This position may include 1-on-1 support with a student as well as working with small groups in an inclusive classroom environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

Providing 1-on-1 support to a student with special needs Helping students participate in classroom activities and follow their daily routines Reinforcing academic materials and skills introduced by the teacher Supporting students with physical, emotional, behavioral, or learning needs Helping create a safe, positive, and welcoming classroom environment Assisting teachers with preparing and organizing instructional materials Supporting students during transitions, snack time, toileting, and other daily routines Following student schedules and individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed by the supervising teacher Working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, support staff, and families Maintaining a positive and professional relationship with students and school staff Participating in professional development and staff training opportunities Adjusting to classroom assignments and schedule changes as needed What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Classroom expereince Patient, compassionate, and dependable Comfortable working with children and students with special needs A positive team player who communicates well Able to follow directions and classroom procedures Reliable and punctual Committed to helping students succeed both academically and personally Why Join GHR Education?
