We are looking for an experienced childcare assistant to be responsible for helping the childcare teachers at Creative Moments. The childcare assistant will work closely with the childcare teacher in conducting daily duties such as preparing lessons, writing daily reports, recording attendance, engaging in play, assisting to put children to sleep, and creating a safe environment. To be successful as a childcare assistant, you must possess a passion for children and exercise patience with them. You should display a friendly and positive attitude and greet parents and children by name. Ultimately, you should be reliable, good problem solver, be willing to work a flexible schedule.

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:

Supports teacher in planning, preparing, and implementing an approved curriculum that includes SEL activities, physical activities, crafts, and Bible lessons. Helping teacher in overseeing daily lesson plans and activities. Preparing materials and equipment, such as books, arts and crafts, gym equipment, and other supplies as needed. Interacting with small groups of children to provide guidance, emotional support, and motivation to complete tasks. Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe classroom environment Ensuring that all school rules, policies, and guidelines are adhered to in the classroom.

Requirements:

Associate degree in education, with a focus on early childhood learning preferred or an associate degree in a related field. Experience assistant teaching in early childhood education. Ability to educate with age-appropriate language and teaching methods. Patience, optimism, compassion, enthusiasm, and empathy. Mediation skills for resolving conflicts between children. Creative mindset to help plan innovative, exciting lessons. Ability to stand as a positive role model for impressionable minds.

Compensation:

Determined by experience.
