As a contract paraprofessional, youll collaborate closely with teachers and staff, providing individualized and small group assistance to help students succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support role preferred Understanding of child development and strategies for guiding student behavior Ability to follow teacher instructions and maintain confidentiality Skilled in communication and building rapport with students and staff High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional coursework or certifications) Reliable, flexible, and dedicated to the well-being and success of all learners

Key Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers with instructional activities and classroom management Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, reinforcing lesson objectives and fostering engagement Help prepare instructional materials, set up learning activities, and organize classroom resources Monitor student behavior, encourage positive interactions, and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) where applicable Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, cafeterias, playgrounds, and during school events Maintain accurate and timely records as directed by supervising staff Working in this contract position offers exposure to dynamic school environments and opportunities to collaborate with dedicated educators.
