Infant Assistant Teacher

Ducklings Early Learning Center is currently looking for a creative and caring Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities. Manage your primary group of children in accordance with the classroom schedule. Implement the daily lesson plan and learning centers as intended by the Lead Teacher when divided into primary groups. Attend all relevant meetings and training. Always adhere to best practices with the care of children and the classroom, especially regarding the tone of voice, positive language, and redirecting behaviors.

Prepare children for pick-up by:

Packing up/organizing all belongings to go home Communicate with families at pick-up regarding the child's day. Greet them, be positive, and introduce yourself if needed.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

CDA, Two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required. At least 2 Years previous experience as an Early Childhood Education Teacher in a licensed preschool or early development center required. Able to furnish required clearances. Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills. Sense of humor encouraged.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
