Daily Responsibilities Assist with daily care routines including feeding, diapering, toileting, naps, and transitions Support implementation of developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Create and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom Observe and document children's developmental progress Help prepare classroom materials and learning activities Assist with serving meals and snacks following nutrition and sanitation guidelines Maintain active supervision of children at all times Support children with developmental delays alongside specialists Participate in home visits, family conferences, and ongoing communication with families Collaborate with teaching staff to provide the highest quality care QualificationsRequired Education Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education OR Associate or Bachelor's Degree in another field with: At least 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education , or A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential appropriate for the age group served Additional Qualifications Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Basic computer skills, including email and Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Commitment to providing exceptional care for young children and their families Physical Requirements This position requires active engagement throughout the day, including: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and sitting on the floor Lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds Working in a fast-paced classroom environment Exposure to common childhood illnesses Occasional local travel for home visits or program activities Why You'll Love This Job Every smile, milestone, and achievement begins with caring adults who make children feel safe, loved, and supported.
