Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting student safety and engagement as a paraprofessional specializing in bus riding assistance. In this contract-based opportunity, you'll play a vital part in ensuring students travel securely to and from their educational setting each day.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a student support capacity preferred A keen sense of responsibility and attention to detail Patience, empathy, and professionalism when working with students Ability to follow specific schedules and maintain punctuality Reliable transportation to meet at a designated pickup location by 7:30 AM Capacity to collaborate with other school staff and drivers
Primary Responsibilities:
Meet at the arranged location each morning for a 7:30 AM pickup Accompany the student from their home in Monessen to their school in Greensburg and return Ensure the student's comfort, safety, and wellbeing during transit Provide attentive supervision and support as needed throughout the bus ride Maintain clear communication with school staff and transportation personnel Adhere to all policies regarding student privacy, safety, and conduct Assist the student during boarding, seating, and exiting the vehicle safely
