Key Qualifications and Experience:
Previous paraprofessional or personal care aide experience, especially in school settings Preferential consideration for candidates with full Pennsylvania credentialing Ability to adapt to last-minute school assignments based on district need Commitment to supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social success Reliable communication skills and a cooperative spirit
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, individualized support to students with varying physical, emotional, and academic needs Assist classroom teachers with daily routines, classroom management, and learning activities Encourage positive student engagement while maintaining safety and dignity Help facilitate inclusive education in both general and special education classrooms Complete and maintain all required clearances (including Act 151, Act 114, Act 126, Act 168, PATCH/Act 134), TB testing, and physicals Promptly participate in district onboarding processes and drug screening In this role, you'll contribute to a supportive learning environment and help students reach their full potential.
