May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

As a paraprofessional, you'll encourage young learners, support teachers, and help students feel seen and capable—whether you're guiding them through a lesson or just offering a smile when they need it. You'll bring patience, kindness, and a steady presence to every day.

Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must have either an associate degree or 48 college credits, or test with us and pass to become highly qualified Applicants who accept the K4 Paraprofessional position by passing the highly qualified test, must commit to earning and maintaining a Child Development Associate(CDA) certificate. The following background clearances are required: Act 151, Act 34, Act 24, and FBI clearance Must have and maintain a current Child CPR/First Aid Certification Experience working with children preferred, but not required Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Work environment: The work environment is lively and hands-on.
