We are seeking dedicated Paraeducators and Teaching Assistants to join our team in a classroom setting, supporting students in the Levittown, PA area for the 2026/2027 School Year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and supporting educators in creating a positive learning environment and supporting individuals with special needs.Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one tutoring (if such tutoring is scheduled at a time when a student would not otherwise receive instruction from a teacher). Assist with classroom management, such as organizing instructional and/or other materials. Act as a liaison in communicating with the teacher and other IU and district staff regarding the ongoing needs of students. Support parental involvement activities. Provide support across all educational settings;escort and supervise students to various locations across all educational settings. Assist the student in using the equipment. Assist the student in using and maintaining augmentative communication devices. Assist a student to ambulate, position, and transfer. Advocate for and provide support for students with various special needs, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum support, Behavior management, Physical disabilities, and Learning disabilities.
