Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a paraprofessional in a dynamic school setting near Mckeesport, PA! This contract position offers a unique chance to make a positive impact on a student's daily routine, providing essential assistance during their school commute each day. In this vital role, you'll accompany a student as a bus rider, ensuring a safe and smooth journey from pickup at 7:30am, traveling from the student's home in Monessen to their school in Greensburg—and repeating the process for the return trip in the afternoon. Working at least four hours each day, you'll serve as a reassuring presence, while helping the student navigate their transitions and supporting their needs along the way.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Experience as a paraprofessional or in a comparable school support role preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate, patient, and attentive to individual needs Ability to follow routines consistently and be prompt for all scheduled times Must be reliable with excellent attendance Flexibility to adapt as needed during transportation Commitment to creating a caring and positive environment for students
Key Responsibilities:
