Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to support educators in creating a positive learning environment for students. This role is essential in facilitating classroom activities, managing behavior, and assisting with lesson planning. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, particularly those with special needs, and possess a strong understanding of childhood development. Duties Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities. Support classroom management to maintain an effective learning environment. Engage with students to promote positive behavior and social skills. Collaborate with educators to develop curriculum tailored to student needs. Provide care and support for toddlers and young children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs. Work closely with students on the autism spectrum, adapting strategies to meet individual requirements. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Experience Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum development is advantageous. Understanding of childhood development principles, particularly for special education needs. Experience in toddler care or working with young children is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
