In this role, you'll support students' academic, behavioral, social, and daily living skill development while working alongside teachers and multidisciplinary teams in an inclusive learning environment.

Position Overview:

Student Support:

Provide individualized and small-group support to help students build academic, behavioral, social, and life skills.

IEP & Classroom Support:

Assist teachers with implementing IEPs and behavior support plans while maintaining a structured, inclusive learning environment.

Daily Student Assistance:

Support classroom participation, communication, transitions, daily routines, and personal care as needed.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary staff to encourage student progress and reinforce positive behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement instructional activities and teacher-directed interventions throughout the school day. Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers and support staff. Reinforce classroom expectations and behavior management strategies. Prepare learning materials and assist with classroom organization as assigned. Support student safety during classroom activities, transitions, meals, recess, and other school routines. Maintain confidentiality and comply with district policies and student support plans.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Required Certifications:

Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification ; ability to complete all required training

Preferred Experience:

Experience supporting children or individuals with special needs

Other Requirements:
