9669224-18067 Job Description Make a lasting impact in a supportive educational setting near Northampton, PA, through an exciting contract position serving students who benefit from dedicated 1:1 support. This opportunity begins August 21, 2026, and continues through June 4, 2027, offering a meaningful, full-time schedule (Monday through Friday, approximately 35 hours per week) working within a collaborative school environment. We are seeking professionals with school-based experience ready to enrich the lives of students through individualized guidance. Multiple roles are available, each bringing a unique and rewarding caseload:

Desired Skills/Experience:

Prior paraprofessional experience in a school setting (required) Ability to support positive student behaviors and adapt to individualized needs Comfortable working 1:1 with students who have autism, cerebral palsy, or significant life skills needs Compassionate, patient, and proactive in responding to student routines and safety Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative attitude Reliable and punctual for consistent attendance

Responsibilities Include:

Providing 1:1 support, ensuring student engagement and safety within the classroom and school building Supporting students with academic, social, and behavioral goals Assisting with student mobility, feeding, and personal care tasks as needed Helping with transitionssuch as riding the bus between high school and CCTI Fostering an inclusive environment that helps students thrive Maintaining open communication with teachers, staff, and families Contribute to an environment where every student receives the encouragement and attention they deserve.
