Job Description
Monday - Friday, 7:00 - 9:00 AM. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Aide to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children before and after school within a local school district. Responsibilities:
Classroom Supervision:
Assist in supervising the classroom, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all children.
Activity Setup:
Help set up activities and materials, fostering an exciting and educational atmosphere.
Respect and Dignity:
Treat all children with dignity and respect, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
Classroom Maintenance:
Assist in maintaining a neat, organized, and clean classroom.
Safety Assurance:
Supervise all activities to ensure children's safety at all times.
Dismissal Procedures:
Participate in dismissal procedures, ensuring each child leaves with the appropriate adult.
Parent and Child Interaction:
Greet parents and children warmly with salutations and smiles, fostering positive relationships.
Professionalism:
Maintain a professional attitude and loyalty to the school at all times.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive, supportive team atmosphere.
Training and Development:
Participate in recommended training programs, conferences, and courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Qualifications:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. High School Education or higher. Warm and friendly personality with a sensitivity to the feelings and needs of others. Ability to relate well to children and create a supportive, nurturing environment.
Working Hours AM or PM or Both Morning Shift:
7:00 - 9:00 AM (10 hours per week).
Afternoon Shift:
3:00 - 6:00 PM (15 hours per week).
Combined Shifts:
Morning and afternoon shifts combined (25 hours per week).
