Key Qualifications:

Experience as a Paraprofessional, particularly in school settings Strong understanding of behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support Ability to build rapport and maintain a supportive, encouraging classroom environment Skill in collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student growth CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain High school diploma required; additional training in behavioral health or education a plus Compassion, patience, and adaptability

Responsibilities:

Work one-on-one with a student requiring behavioral support Implement individualized behavioral plans in coordination with educational teams Track and document student progress, behavior incidents, and program effectiveness Provide assistance during classroom routines and transitions Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment that meets each student's needs Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents about progress and any concerns Support classroom management and encourage social-emotional development Enjoy a fulfilling position that aligns with the academic calendar, running from August 25, 2026 through June 4, 2027.
