Job Description

Ducklings Early Learning Center is currently looking for a creative and caring Assistant Teacher to join our team. Must love making new friends, smiling a lot, and going home happily exhausted because you just had The Best Day EVER!!! If you have a passion for working with children, are dedicated to Early Education, and wish to be surrounded by like-minded individuals, we want you to be a part of our family.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Manage and participate in a variety of learning environments and activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and achieve their learning objectives.  Maintain a healthy and safe environment.  Communicate positively with students, parents and staff.  Safely lift a child or children with a total weight of 40 pounds.  Conduct activities involving substantial standing, walking and moderate sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, twisting, and reaching on a frequent basis.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE



Assistant Teacher Applicants:

Need at least a high school diploma  Previous experience as an Early Childhood Education Teacher in a licensed preschool or early development center.  Able to furnish required clearances.  Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills.  Sense of humor encouraged.
